§ 61-5. Registration - Content and form.

(a) In general.

The registration must be in the form and contain the information that the Commissioner requires and that is required in subsection (b) of this section.

(b) Required information.

The registration must include the following information:

(1) the offender's name;

(2) the crime for which the offender was convicted;

(3) the date on which the offender was convicted;

(4) any other name by which the offender has been legally known;

(5) a list of all aliases that the offender has used;

(6) identifying factors of the offender, including a physical description;

(7) the offender's residence; and

(8) any other information required by the rules and regulations adopted by the Commissioner under this subtitle.

(c) Signature and date.

The registration must be signed and dated by the offender and the Commissioner or the Commissioner's designee.

(d) Photograph.

At the time that the offender appears at the office to register, the Commissioner may photograph the offender.

(e) Documentation required.

The Commissioner may require the offender to provide documentation that verifies the contents of the registration.
