§ 13-8. Meters.

(a) Director to inspect and control.

All meters or other measuring devices installed or required to be used under the provisions of this subtitle shall be subject to inspection by, and under the control of, the Director of Public Works.

(b) Owner to maintain.

The owner of the property upon which any such meter or measuring device is installed shall be responsible for its proper repair, maintenance, and safe keeping. All repairs thereto shall be made at the cost and expense of such owner, whether such repairs are made necessary by ordinary wear and tear or any other cause or causes.
